Since I was young, music has always been one of my biggest interests. I began learning how to play the piano with some basic instructions from my dad, who is a pianist and organist. At the age of nine, I was enrolled in formal piano lessons with Erica Heerema, where I continued for three years. Later, I took lessons from Eliana VanRaalte for two years before deciding to switch to organ lessons with Dr. Martin Jongsma. I’ve been studying with him for the past six years. Under his guidance, I completed my Grade 7 RCM Organ and am currently working towards Grade 8, which I hope to achieve this year.
